More than just an ejection error detection system, the PE-400 supports re-ejection for jammed parts. This function is performed up to a predetermined number of times (up to 99 times) without machine shutdown, allowing for rapid cycle return. In addition to preventing mold damage or unnecessary machine shutdowns, this helps reduce the number of ejects, decreasing wear of the ejector pins. This function also supports unattended operation.

Other specialized functions of the PE-400 include:

• Capability for 4X zoom on the 640x480 pixel LCD screen
• Checking of set conditions and cycle count

Operation is easy and quick because condition settings are performed by simple selection of items on the screen. Plus, the PE-400 allows automatic capture of a reference image in a single cycle.

Convenient data storage is provided by a compact flash slot and 1GB card so that the setting conditions of each mold, logging data and photos can be easily store and downloaded.
