Introduction

Comet’s Untie Bag Frame provides an enclosed area to access the tie strings on the discharge spout of a bulk bag. Its user-friendly design makes it simple to untie or re-tie the spout while providing dust-free material discharge. The interface (with discharge spout) varies depending on the bag style and material characteristics.

A large hinged door on the on the front of the interface enables easy access to the bag spout. The flanged top of the untie box easily connects to a flow control valve while the flanged bottom easily connects to an existing processing machine or material conveying system.

• 16″ W x 9″ H hinged access door providing ample room to access and untie the bag spout.
• The top flange on the untie box is designed to mount iris valves, inflatable bladder seals and other spout interface devices.
• Inflatable bladder seals can be added internally or externally for additional dust and contamination prevention.
• The flanged base connects to both conveying and process machine interface components.
• Keyed safety switch disables all moving components below the untie box to safely access the discharge spout.
• Unique toggle-action handle allows you to shut the access door with one hand while providing a compression force on the door seal to prevent dust leaking from the door and untie box interface.
