Introduction

Comet’s CSS-SS series single shaft shredders have a smaller footprint and are suitable for shredding a wide range of materials to a uniform particle size. Input materials can be all types and forms of plastics such as purgings, rejected parts, trim scraps, plastic profiles and film; copper cables, confidential documents, production waste, packaging materials, used beverage cans, various textiles like carpet, etc.

Throughputs typically range between 660-11,020+ lbs/hr (300–5,000 kg/hr+) depending on the model, application, and material type.
