Comet’s Surge/Day Bins are very adaptable and can be used for storing both raw materials and finished product. Ergonomically designed in a variety of standard and custom shapes, these units can be used as a stand-alone, in-plant storage system, or in conjunction with your outdoor storage silos. Surge/Day Bins are available in various sizes to maximize and conserve handling time, space and energy. Construction materials include carbon, stainless steel, and aluminum and can be customized to meet your specific needs.

• Bulk storage bin capacities range from 10 to 1,500 cubic feet.
• Space-saving square design with 45° or 60° hopper slopes depending on the flow characteristics of the material being stored.
• Piano-hinged cover access on top provides easy access to the bin’s interior.
• Vacuum receiver or cyclone cutout in cover provides easy access into the bin for various types of discharge.
• Discharge material flange accommodates vacuum take-away box, slide gate, butterfly valve, iris valve, or auger discharge.
• 15″ standard clearance beneath discharge flange.
• Painted warm gray on exterior surfaces to reduce wear and tear.
• 4ʺ diameter sight-glass window on the side to check material levels.
