Introduction

Comet’s CG-23/30/36 series sound-proof central granulators are designed for recycling waste or rejected parts from injection molding, blow molding or extrusion machines. This series is solid and dependable and features easy operation, quick blade replacement, and fast cleaning and maintenance. There are multiple machine sizes with cutting chamber openings up to 20″ (750mm) wide, various rotor speeds, and different rotor blade configurations to allow you to select the best granulator to suit your specific requirements.

• High-tech, rotating V-shape cutting blades send material to the center of the cutting chamber to prevent material from adhering to the sidewalls.
• Solid structure with airtight double-soundproof layers to keep noise levels minimal.
• High-quality, durable steel blades stay rigid and are reusable after sharpening.
• Rotating blades inside the clamps are equipped with a blade sharpening jig with adjustable, preset cutting technology on the outside of unit.
• The heavy-duty cutting chamber is constructed using contamination free material ensuring extreme durability, a long service life, and minimal maintenance and repair.
• Soundproof feed chute is equipped with a safety material curtain to eliminate flyback during granulation and also reduce noise levels during operation.
• Self-lock electric rod opens the feed chute ensuring safe operation.
• Cooling pipe at rear of cutting chamber prevents material from melting.
• V-type transmission belt connects the transmission spindle and pulley helping to maintain smooth operation, close contact, and simple disassembly and repair.
• Depending on your requirements, an adjustable cyclone dust separator is available with a floor stand.
• Extra fixed knives and balance are available to granulate thick or heavy material to increase granulating capacity.
