Comet’s ColorSave Micro is a compact, cost-effective, single component gravimetric feeder. It uses a new, patented system to precisely feed small quantities of color concentrate, or other additives, directly into the feed throat of injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding machines.
ColorSave Micro integrates the feeding process with the machine by continuously monitoring the load cells and accurately keeping track of the weight-loss rate from the feeder. Load cells are protected in open hoppers (no gates to open or close) insuring high reliability. The simply designed unit ensures both minimal setup time and reduced maintenance.
